We’re proud to announce that Franks Portlock has been successfully appointed to the EN:Procure Asbestos, Demolition and Water Hygiene Services Framework (Gen-4), securing places on all four lots applied for:
- Asbestos Consultancy Services
- Asbestos Survey Services
- Air Monitoring Services
- Water Hygiene Management and Remedial Works
This prestigious framework, valued at £93.75 million, is hosted by EN:Procure, the procurement arm of the social housing consortium Efficiency North. It’s designed to support the delivery of safe, compliant, and sustainable environments across social housing, public sector, and commercial buildings throughout the North of England.
We’re honoured to be one of only two companies appointed to all four lots, reflecting our ability to deliver a fully integrated service across both asbestos and water hygiene management.
Our inclusion across all categories shows our expertise and commitment to delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. It reinforces our position as a trusted partner in helping organisations manage environmental risks safely and effectively.
Emma Mottram, Director of Operations at EN:Procure, said:
“The asbestos and demolition sector is of huge importance to the construction industry, with projects needing careful planning to protect workers and the public when dealing with this hazardous material, which can have serious legal and health-related consequences.
We need this pool of highly skilled and trusted operators to be involved in the safe handling of asbestos, in line with UK regulations. I’m also pleased to be working with such a good mix of existing and new framework contractors, with 57% of them partnering with EN:Procure for the first time.
Providing modern, compliant, and sustainable properties is at the core of what we do, and we always aim to work with contractors who can demonstrate their dedication to delivering social value and making a meaningful impact in their communities.
That’s why we are delighted to be joined by so many talented professionals who we know will make a positive difference—especially in prioritising skills and education in their own workforces, such as offering apprenticeships, with our support.”
We’re excited to work alongside EN:Procure and its members over the next four years, contributing to the safe management of asbestos and Legionella, and helping to create healthier living environments across the region.
