Asbestos re-inspections – know your obligations

If you’re responsible for a property that has been inspected for asbestos, then you’re obligated under The Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012 to make sure that an annual re-inspection is carried out.

While the results of a previous survey may not have been enough to cause alarm, asbestos containing materials can degrade over time and once this happens, they can quickly become a health hazard.
